![]() ![]() That isn’t doesn’t offer completely full coverage because it does. Compared to the original formula it’s much, much thicker yet it seems to provide a little tiny bit less coverage and it sheers out a lot more easier. This is a thick, rich, very creamy formula with full coverage as promised. Oddly enough it ended up working for me perfectly well but I would not recommend it for anyone with deeper lines or crepey skin because it’ll likely age eyes further plus it’ll prove difficult to blend. This formula is a matte finish which worried me as I tend to look for hydrating concealers for my finely lined eyes. ![]() Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Creme Swatches (L11 Neutral) ![]() The interesting thing about this new formula is it comes in nearly double the shade selection of the original formula plus it also includes a White Out shade which can be used to mix other shades to create new custom ones. Just keep that in mind when reading my review as eyes play an important role in my concealer reviews. I completely agree but I totally judge concealer formulas on how well they work under my eyes because I typically don’t use them on my face. Someone mentioned in a post I recently did, that you have to remember concealer isn’t just for under eye use. I actually had my doubts about this formula because a lot of you had mentioned it was very dry under eyes and I also read reviewed that stated the same. The formula promises to brighten and conceal the under eye area while also covering blemishes, correcting discolorations, and also acts a lot like Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in the fact you can use the formula to contour and bake with it as well. It’s a pretty big leap in pricing and size that’s for sure but with the promise of pigmented coverage I was willing to overlook this. Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Cream comes housed in a 0.22 oz barrel and is $26 compared to the regular Lock-It Concealer that’s $25 and 0.58 oz in size. I question whether Lock-It Concealer needed an upgrade or not as it is a beloved formula but Lock-It Concealer Cream is an exciting release to say the least. How many people remember when Kat posted those photos of herself using Lock-It Concealer all over body to conceal tattoos? I happen to a fan of Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer and it was one of my first products I tried when Kat launched her makeup collection at Sephora back in 2009. The new Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Creme launched earlier in July with the promise of full coverage in a rich, creamy formula that promised a wear for up to 24 hours. ![]()
